About Dynamic Woodworking
Dynamic Woodworking was founded in 1995 by Lonney Collins in a 550-square-foot shop in Anoka, Minnesota, just north of Minneapolis. The locally owned and operated company has since relocated its headquarters to Oak Grove, Minnesota, while continuing to serve the Twin Cities metro area. The shop designs, builds, installs, and remodels custom cabinets, countertops, entertainment centers, fireplace surrounds, and architectural woodwork for residential projects. Its capabilities span kitchen, bathroom, and basement renovations as well as whole-home transformations, with a focus on custom cabinetry, built-ins, and on-site installation. Though the facility has grown from its original footprint, the company describes itself as a relatively small shop that gives each job individual attention. Dynamic Woodworking works primarily with homeowners, remodelers, and interior designers across Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding communities. Project galleries reference specific installations such as the Apple Orchard Farmhouse in Woodbury, the Riverside Retreat in Woodbury, Cozy Country Living, Minnetonka by the Bay, Ramsey on the River, Victoria Waterfront, Excelsior on the Bay, Oak Grove Country Living, and a project in Anoka. The company emphasizes what it calls the "Dynamic Difference": realistic commitments and reliable delivery, a collaborative design approach termed "success through creativity," adoption of current innovations such as self-closing hardware and creative storage solutions, and the use of premium wood and hardware with meticulous piece-by-piece inspection.
