About EGT Solar
EGT Solar operates from Meridian, Idaho, where it moved in 2012 after launching in 2010 as EvenGreen Technology in a small Boise office. The company was founded by Bryan M. Lawley, who serves as president, with Rob Black as CEO/partner and Dan Bennett as general manager. The firm installs residential and commercial photovoltaic systems, adds battery backup storage, and provides ongoing service and maintenance through a dedicated in-house team. Three full-time installation crews are led by master, journeyman, and apprentice electricians, supported by permitting, project processing, and sales staff. EGT Solar has completed over 100 commercial projects and ranks as Idaho’s top-volume residential contractor. Customers include homeowners throughout the Treasure Valley and commercial clients such as consulting firms and national institutions — Daniel Aguilar’s background notes work for Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo. The company also partners with lenders to offer zero-down financing. EGT Solar was started to educate Idahoans about solar energy and keep energy dollars in the state. Its owners co-founded the Idaho Clean Energy Association and advocate for favorable net-metering policies, emphasizing an ethics-first approach over aggressive sales tactics.
