About Freund Custom Furnishings
A founding year is not publicly disclosed. The shop produces handcrafted church furniture built to each client's specifications. Its portfolio includes altars, presider chairs, offertory tables, credence tables, bookcases, ambos, stations of the cross, prie-dieux, and reredos. In addition to new fabrication, the team provides restoration and decorative painting, statue repair and painting, and replication of architectural moldings and columns. A liturgical consulting service begins each project with discussions among parish members to align the design with the ritual needs of the space. Recent work includes a communion rail for Mary Queen of Angels in Fort Scott and an altar for St. Mark. The company serves customers seeking custom pieces that harmonize with existing architecture. Freund emphasizes that every piece is custom designed to create a harmonious matching set supporting the architecture and liturgy of the worship space.
