About FTIC
Fukai Toyotetsu Indiana Corporation (FTIC) operates from Jamestown, Indiana, where it began production in 2016 as a Japanese-owned tier one automotive supplier. Its manufacturing core comprises metal stamping, robotic welding, material conveyance, and preventive maintenance departments. Stamping presses form blanks into shaped parts, while robots weld subcomponents into finished frame assemblies for Subaru models. The facility also runs internal conveyance systems to move parts between operations and a maintenance team that handles preventative upkeep and repairs. FTIC serves the automotive sector exclusively, with Subaru of Indiana Automotive as its named customer. The parts produced become internal structural components for several of Subaru’s high-volume vehicle lines. The company emphasizes manufacturing quality as a tier one supplier, maintaining continuous expansion since its 2016 launch to meet Subaru’s production demands.
