About Jordan Manufacturing Co
Jordan Manufacturing Company was founded in 1975 by Dave Jordan in the basement of his Peoria, Illinois home. The business relocated to Monticello, Indiana in 1985 and has remained family‑owned and operated ever since. In 2021, founder Dave Jordan was succeeded by his daughter, Ashley Budd, continuing the second‑generation leadership. The company produces a broad line of outdoor soft goods, including patio furniture cushions, throw pillows, poufs, and market umbrellas. Manufacturing is vertically integrated: fiber batting fill is produced in‑house, custom designs are developed on site, and cut‑and‑sew operations run at facilities in Monticello and Kentland, Indiana, as well as in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Monticello campus includes a state‑of‑the‑art plant built in 2005 after a fire, and the Kentland facility opened in 2018. A dropship program launched in 1999 supports online retailers, while custom product development helps brands differentiate their assortments. The company emphasizes ethical and sustainable practices. All facilities are Sedex members and SMETA compliant, and the business earned Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certification in 2022. Vertical integration and proprietary equipment are cited as the basis for competitive pricing and fast turnaround, allowing Jordan to offer customized solutions without sacrificing quality.
