About KM Lifestyle

KM Lifestyle Mfg. operates from Auburn, Massachusetts, in the Worcester County region. The company's founding year and ownership structure are not publicly disclosed, nor are its founders named in available sources. The business presents itself as a licensee of the Atwater Kent trademark, producing vintage automotive electrical components and hand-crafted vacuum tube radios under the KM Lifestyle brand. The shop manufactures and rebuilds electrical parts for pre-war and post-war vehicles, including fuel senders, temperature senders, ignition coils, starters, generators, and distributors. It also produces sealed-grain-finish vacuum tube radios with modern options such as AM, shortwave, AM/FM, MP3, and cell-phone compatibility. Work is performed on period-correct machinery with special tooling, and the company accepts custom build-to-order requests for both foreign and domestic applications. No facility size, headcount, or annual volume figures are published. Customers include restorers and collectors of vintage cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, and aircraft. The automotive line serves brands such as AC Delco, King Seeley, Stewart Warner, Autolite, Delco, and Northeast, in both 6-volt and 12-volt configurations. The entertainment furnishings line appeals to enthusiasts of period-correct audio equipment. KM Lifestyle emphasizes its use of period-correct machinery and tooling as a differentiator from offshore manufacturing, aiming to keep restoration projects within budget. The company holds a license to use the Atwater Kent registered trademark, which it applies to its automotive parts line.
