About Lakeside Trading, Sheds & Outdoor Furniture
Lakeside Trading LLC has operated from Narragansett, Rhode Island since 1999, when founder Dave Harrigan liquidated his 401(k) and life savings to purchase a trailer load of hand-made clay chimineas from Mexico. The family-owned business began wholesaling those chimineas to local garden centers and selling at seasonal markets before expanding into outdoor structures. Today the company procures, installs, and services American-made sheds, greenhouses, chicken coops, gazebos, garages, pergolas, playsets, and pavilions from a 5,000-square-foot showroom and display yard A staff of 20 full-time employees — some with more than 15 years’ tenure — handles custom design, site preparation, delivery, and installation, completing over 1,000 structure installations and selling more than 2,000 pieces of furniture annually. Its outdoor furniture line features marine-grade hardware and recycled plastic poly lumber backed by a 20-year workmanship warranty, while Amish-crafted structures carry a 10-year warranty and a lifetime service guarantee. The company also provides shed relocation, foundation preparation, and free on-site consultations. Harrigan’s original leap of faith established a culture of fair pricing and personal service that remains the company’s stated differentiator: a locally rooted, family-run operation that stands behind every product it sells.
