About Lumber2Love
Lumber2Love is based in Walker, Michigan, with its production shop in nearby Grand Rapids. The company began when founders Ryan and Amanda built a single table in their garage and found they could not stop. Today the business employs 27 craftsmen who build each piece by hand. The shop produces solid American hardwood furniture — dining tables, chairs, stools, conference tables, game tables, coffee tables, sideboards, credenzas and desks — each made to order in the species, dimensions and finish the customer chooses. The team has completed more than 15,000 custom pieces, with a standard lead time of eight to ten weeks and rush options available. Roughly half of output goes to residential clients, while the other half serves commercial accounts including restaurants, hotels and offices. The company works with designers and dealers through a Trade & Design program, supplying contract-grade conference tables with integrated power and data, banquettes, restaurant tops and commercial seating. Deliveries have reached 45 states and Washington, D.C. Lumber2Love positions itself against mass-produced laminate furniture, emphasizing that its tables can be sanded and refinished decades later. Nothing is imported or drop-shipped; the craftsmen who build a piece are the same people customers speak with throughout the process.
