About Minnesota Millwork & Fixtures
Minnesota Millwork & Fixtures operates from Lonsdale, Minnesota, with a second production site in Montgomery. The company traces its roots to 1977 when Randy Stangler founded R & L Woodcraft in a garage in Veseli, Minnesota, initially building residential cabinets. In 2016, Randall Rivers acquired the business and rebranded it as Minnesota Millwork & Fixtures the following year. The manufacturer produces architectural millwork, commercial casework, retail fixtures, cabinets, upholstered booths, custom furniture, host stands, reception desks, tables, trim and moulding, bar tops, back bars, and metal fabrications. Its primary campus comprises a 53,000-square-foot facility built in 2008, a 15,000-square-foot booth production and assembly plant added in 2023, and the Montgomery location dedicated to booth and metal fabrication. A new paint line and dust collection system installed in 2024 quadrupled finishing capacity. The company serves the hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, and retail sectors, supplying national chains such as Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse (Bloomin' Brands), The Melting Pot, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and Yard House. Projects range from restaurant booth seating and cabinetry to full architectural millwork packages for commercial interiors across the United States. Minnesota Millwork & Fixtures emphasizes a "Custom is Standard" philosophy, promoting American-made products, direct shipping, and a one-stop-shop model that integrates design, value engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, and installation. The firm has earned recognition including Bloomin' Brands' 2023 Supplier of the Year, The Melting Pot's 2018 Best New Vendor and 2023 Own It Award, and the Lonsdale Chamber of Commerce's 2019 Business of the Year.
