About Richardson Furniture Mfr
Richardson Furniture Mfr is a family-owned furniture manufacturer based in Phoenix, Arizona. The company was founded in 1972 by George and Louise Richardson, who purchased a small local furniture manufacturing plant after working there themselves. The business has remained in the family for three generations, with their youngest son Dean and his wife Stacie taking over in the early 2000s, and their children Shelbee and Christian now also involved. Its manufacturing processes feature benchcraft upholstery, corner-blocked solid wood frames, and center-match cutting for made-to-order items. The shop employs a team whose members average more than 15 years of experience, though total headcount and facility size are not disclosed. Its collections — Richardson Collection, Hunter Leanne Home Collection, and Leather Applications — span styles from Southwest to mid-century modern. The Richardsons emphasize quality craftsmanship as their defining trait, citing benchcraft construction, solid wood framing, and precise pattern matching as differentiators. The company was started to bring durable, stylish comfort to homes, a mission that continues under the current generation.
