Same Sun of Vermont was founded in 2011 in Rutland, Vermont, by Marlene and Philip Allen. The couple, a former commercial real estate appraiser and fine art dealer, had installed a rooftop array on their own home and decided to turn their experience into a family-owned business. Project examples include installations for VMS Construction, The Royal Group, Otter Valley Union High School, Weston Priory, and the Tunbridge Solar array in Benson and Royalton, as well as numerous residential roof and ground mounts.
