About Scotsman Co
Scotsman Co operates from Laurel, Mississippi, where it designs and builds wooden kitchen and lifestyle products. The company does not publish a founding year or founder names on its public pages, and ownership structure is not disclosed. The shop produces end-grain butcher blocks, cutting boards, carving boards, rolling pins, and custom wooden countertops and island tables. It also offers a range of serving pieces—bread boards, cake stands, charcuterie boards, lazy Susans, and trays—alongside a smaller line of lifestyle goods such as candles, leather goods, and apparel. Production is described as American-made, with custom fabrication available for countertops and island tops. Products are marketed to both home cooks and professional kitchens; the company notes its end-grain blocks belong "just as naturally in a home kitchen as it does in a professional one." NSF-certified items signal suitability for commercial food-service environments. Direct-to-consumer sales run through the website, with custom orders welcomed. Scotsman Co emphasizes domestic manufacturing ("American Made") and a made-to-order model that ships custom tops and island tables "in just a few weeks." The brand positions its pieces as heirloom-quality tools that become part of daily cooking rituals.
