About Spacestor New York Design Centre
The company traces its roots to nearly three decades ago as a UK-based innovator in workspace furniture and design thinking. Ten years ago it expanded to California, opening a design centre to observe evolving workplace cultures, and later established a presence in New York. The firm designs and manufactures modular, customizable furniture systems that define architectural space. Product lines include meeting pods and booths (Portals, Railway Carriage, Verandas), zoning systems (Aeonica, Palisades), lockers (HotLocker), system walls (Signature Storagewall, Snugglestor), freestanding storage (Forte), tables and benches (Zee, Rip), seating (Bleachers), and desking (Zee Bench Desk). Production occurs at the company's own factories, supported by a digital customizer tool and 2D/3D design files. Headcount is reported as 2,000 globally. The company positions its differentiation on blending "California Cool with London Design" across a global network of design centres. It emphasizes sustainability, a "kit-of-parts" modular approach, and a mission to improve workspaces for happiness, creativity, and teamwork. Spacestor states it donates approximately 10% of profits to local schools and charities.
