About Sunset Outdoor Supply
Sunset Outdoor Supply has operated in Morgantown, West Virginia since 2003. The business is owned by Barry Frey and began as a specialist dealer for Ventrac articulated tractors, later adding TORO lawn mowers, Boss snowplows, and Scag mowers to its lineup. The company sells new equipment including Ventrac 4000 and 4500 series tractors, TORO zero-turn, stand-on, and walk-behind mowers, Boss snowplows and spreaders, and Scag commercial mowers, along with ice-melt products. The shop maintains a large on-site parts inventory for Ventrac, TORO, and Boss equipment to minimize customer downtime. Notable users include Deerhurst Resort in Ontario, which uses Ventrac tractors with snow blowers and brooms to maintain 26 hockey rinks; a private owner in Iowa who operates a Ventrac 4500Z with over 35 attachments on 30-degree slopes; and a tree farm in West Virginia running Ventrac 3000 units. Frey emphasizes product expertise and hands-on support: the team provides free on-site or in-house demonstrations, offers emergency service for Ventrac and TORO owners, and stocks one of the largest Ventrac parts inventories in the region. All machinery and accessories sold are manufactured in the United States.
