About The Worden Company
Founded in 1949 in Holland, Michigan, The Worden Company began as a woodworking operation and grew into a multi-material fabrication and assembly partner serving clients nationwide. The company produces custom and production-run furniture, clinical finished goods, and OEM product-complete assemblies. Its integrated capabilities span machining, upholstery, thermoforming, finishing, sewing, PET felt fabrication, wood/laminate/solid surface work, steel and aluminum component machining, multi-substrate finish development, subassembly, final assembly, and kitting. Operations range from hand fabrication to full production volumes. Worden serves two primary segments: furniture and clinical product OEMs, and library/commercial interior projects. For OEMs it builds seating (lounge chairs, task seating, stools), clinical carts (procedure, treatment, supply carts, mobile workstations, overbed tables), and wood casegoods (conference tables, reception desks, shelving). For architectural projects it delivers custom furniture and architectural elements. The firm emphasizes a single synchronized flow of product and accountability, replacing multiple supply channels with integrated engineering, supply chain management, continuous improvement, and quality systems certified to ISO 9001:2015 and Architectural Woodwork Institute standards.
