About Timber Woodworking Machinery
Timber Woodworking Machinery, Inc. operates from a 33,000-square-foot facility on three acres in Mesa, Arizona. The company was founded in 1989 by Charles and Paulette Larson after they struggled to find quality tools and supplies for their own woodworking projects. The Larsons opened their first store in a 2,700-square-foot strip mall on East Southern Avenue, and the business grew steadily. In 2005, their daughter RaeAnn Yoder and son-in-law Mel Yoder assumed control of the machinery division, and when the founders retired in 2010, the couple also took over the lumber side of the operation. The retailer stocks a broad range of woodworking tools, equipment, and supplies, including hardwood lumber, used machinery, used parts, carbide router bits, and sharpening services. Its showroom spans roughly 13,000 square feet and displays products from brands such as Amana, Bosch, CMT, Freud, Delta, Jet, Powermatic, and others. The company also runs a consignment program that allows customers to sell their own used equipment through the store. Customers include commercial cabinet shops, custom furniture manufacturers, and home-shop hobbyists across the Southwest. The business serves both large production operations and individual woodworkers, offering everything from hand carving tools to large production machines. They emphasize unrivaled customer satisfaction as the foundation of their business.
