About Troy Brook Visions Fine Art Furniture Gallery and Studio
The company was founded in 1993 by Daniel Gugnoni, a sculptor who turned to furniture making after earning a BFA. He established the business on the Shaker principles of hard work, honesty, and pride in craftsmanship. Barbara Mojon Gugnoni, who holds a BA in English literature and a background in advertising, joined the operation in 1996 and now handles marketing, sales, and the finishing process. The studio produces one-of-a-kind and custom fine art furniture, each piece designed and built by Daniel Gugnoni. The workflow moves from client consultation through design, handcrafted joinery, and a proprietary twelve-step hand-rubbed finish applied by Barbara. The shop does not run production lines; every item is a unique functional sculpture. The facility is a small country barn studio and a second-floor gallery where finished pieces are displayed. Troy Brook Visions has exhibited at juried events such as the American Craft Council Shows, the Paradise City Arts Festival, the Philadelphia Invitational Furniture Show, and the Fine Furnishings Show. These venues connect the studio with buyers who value handcrafted, design-driven furniture for residential settings. The founders say the business exists to honor the material and the maker. Daniel Gugnoni describes each board as a gift from nature that should not be squandered, and the couple emphasizes that they never manufacture product—they create art. The Shaker-inspired ethos and the direct, personal involvement of both artisans in every commission are presented as the core differentiators.
