About Utah Rustic Furniture by Bradley's
Utah Rustic Furniture by Bradley's operates a 10,000-square-foot showroom at 2255 S 300 W in Salt Lake City, Utah. The business traces its roots to 1953, when Ralph Bradley opened his first furniture store in downtown Salt Lake City under the Bradley-Badger Furniture name. The company remains family-owned; after several transitions, Chad and Lesa Downs became sole owners in 1997, and their son Matt has managed the operation for two decades. The store describes itself as a third-generation family enterprise. The retailer specializes in rustic and log furniture, much of it built by hand and made custom-to-order to customer specifications. Offerings include solid-wood bedroom sets, dining tables, accent pieces, and customizable American-made leather and fabric upholstery collections. A dedicated mattress department carries what the company calls Utah's largest inventory of 100% natural and organic mattresses. The showroom also stocks lines from manufacturers such as Vaughn-Bassett, Benchcraft, Homelegance, Coaster, and Fashion Bed Group. The company also serves shoppers seeking natural and organic sleep products. The company emphasizes its heritage of personal service, citing a reputation for honest guidance and a no-pressure sales approach. The founders' original focus on sleep products evolved into a full-line furniture store that highlights locally built, handmade rustic pieces alongside a curated mattress selection.
