Viking Plastics was founded in 1972 in Corry, Pennsylvania, as a privately held, American-owned company. It began by developing a proprietary line of plastic and rubber sealing closures for under-the-hood automotive and industrial applications, establishing an early focus on engineered sealing solutions. Today the company operates as an injection molding and value-added assembly service provider with three U.S. facilities in Corry, Pennsylvania; Louisville, Kentucky; and Indiana. It runs more than 50 injection molding machines globally with a 50–750 ton press capacity, supported by advanced automated assembly cells.
