About West Bench Home Furnishings
West Bench Home Furnishings operates from Roberts, Montana, where founders Mahlon and Katie Marie Mullett established the family-owned business with a simple idea: to offer high-quality, well-crafted furniture featuring classic designs and everyday practicality. What began as a small family venture has grown into a source for durable, comfortable heirloom pieces. The company specializes in premium handcrafted indoor and outdoor furniture, partnering with American workshops in Montana, Ohio, Indiana, and beyond to produce dining, bedroom, living room, and office collections, as well as poly outdoor furniture, log furniture, children’s toys, gifts, and housewares. Customers can customize wood species, stain colors, hardware, and finishes through the Roberts showroom, with options for in-store pickup or delivery across Montana and shipping nationwide. West Bench serves residential homeowners throughout Montana and the broader United States, and maintains relationships with professional organizations such as the Home Builders Association of Billings, the Billings Chamber of Commerce, and the Red Lodge Area Chamber of Commerce. The Mulletts emphasize solid hardwood construction—using only oak, maple, and cherry with no particle board—and traditional craftsmanship combined with modern techniques. Their stated mission is to help each customer create a home that feels personal, with furniture built to withstand generations of daily use.
