About Whiteside Manufacturing Co
Whiteside Manufacturing Co. was founded in 1954 in Delaware, Ohio, when the company's patriarch used $800 earned from officiating high school basketball to start a business in a two-car garage. What began as a family operation—run by the founder, his mother, and his wife—has grown into a second-generation, family-owned manufacturer of professional-grade garage equipment. The company produces mechanic's creepers, creeper seats, industrial-grade platforms, storage solutions, and specialty garage equipment, along with a full line of replacement parts. Operating from more than 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space, Whiteside holds nearly 100 patents and serves a global customer base with products made in the USA. Its catalog includes dozens of SKUs such as the Over-the-Engine Creeper, adjustable rider creepers, convertible creeper-seats, and padded shop seats. Whiteside's equipment is used across automotive, heavy-duty, big-truck, industrial, agriculture, refinery, and aerospace sectors. The company has earned multiple "Vendor of the Year" awards from customers for innovation, service, and delivery performance. It also offers custom garage equipment designed to match specific industry standards and requirements. The founder's original mission—to build the finest garage equipment in the professional tool world—remains the guiding principle. The leadership team, led by CEO Kirt Whiteside and CFO Terry Whiteside, continues to operate on the credo: build it better, build it right, and never settle.
