About Wild Mile Woodworks
The company began as a timber frame shop serving the local region and has since expanded its reach across multiple states and into Canada. The shop provides a full range of timber frame services, including design, milling, joinery, and on-site installation. Projects are built in the Bigfork facility and then erected on location, whether on the grid or off the grid. The company has completed work in Montana, Wyoming, Washington, British Columbia, and Alberta. A notable project is the restoration of the historic Glacier Park Lodge in East Glacier. Wild Mile Woodworks serves residential clients seeking custom timber frame homes as well as commercial and institutional customers needing historic structure renovation. The portfolio includes traditional chalet-style frames, modern designs, and rustic recycled-wood projects. The company emphasizes a blend of traditional, old-world craftsmanship with modern design techniques.
