About Wilkens Manufacturing Inc
Wilkens Manufacturing Inc. was founded in 1973 by Art Wilkens and his wife Mae in Stockton, Kansas. The company remains family-owned, with several family members active in daily operations. The company designs and builds live-floor trailers under the LiteWalker, LTE Fleet, and X-Treme Wide Belt product lines, using patented ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene flooring that is USDA and FDA approved. It also operates a Tarps Unlimited division that produces custom tarps for semi-trailers and farm equipment. A parts warehouse stocks direct-replacement flooring and components for its own trailers as well as for Keith Walking Floor systems, and service departments in Kansas and Pennsylvania provide repair and maintenance. Customers include fleet operators, transportation companies, and agricultural businesses that need self-unloading trailers and custom tarp solutions. The company emphasizes custom builds tailored to specific payload and unloading requirements. The founding goal was to advance walking-floor trailer efficiency and fuel savings.
