About Worldwide Enterprises
Worldwide Enterprises was founded in 1996 in East Providence, Rhode Island, as a family-owned and operated distributor of wire rope, cable, and hardware. The company began as a supplier to marine and industrial markets and became a member of the Associated Wire Rope Fabricators (AWRF) in its first year. From its warehouse on Commercial Way in East Providence, the company stocks and distributes galvanized and stainless steel aircraft cable, wire rope, proof coil chain, and a range of marine and industrial hardware fittings. It also fabricates wire rope slings and provides rigging services for commercial fishing trawlers and sailboats. Proprietary product lines include SECURE-MOOR® mooring chain and anchors, and ZIPWIRE® zip line cable and hardware, the latter featuring a SuperSwaged option for longer life. Most orders ship the same day. The customer base spans commercial fishing, industrial, and rigging companies, as well as experiential sectors such as zip lines, canopy tours, and adventure parks. Marine construction firms, marinas, and mooring contractors rely on the SECURE-MOOR® line for mooring systems, while architectural railing and design projects source cable and hardware for structural applications. The company emphasizes attention to detail and quality service from an experienced sales, warehouse, and office team. Its stated goal is complete customer satisfaction, backed by a policy of standing behind everything sold. Long-term relationships across multiple industries reflect a focus on reliability and product knowledge.
