About Amish Heirlooms Furniture
Amish Heirlooms Furniture was founded in 2003 by Travis and Jackie Olson in Mason City, Iowa. The family-owned business began after the couple encountered Amish craftsmanship on fishing trips to southeastern Minnesota, inspiring them to open a store dedicated to handcrafted solid-wood furniture. The company has since relocated and expanded four times, with its current showroom located in Clear Lake, Iowa. The retailer specializes in made-to-order Amish furniture built by individual Amish families in Indiana. Each piece is constructed from solid wood and can be customized to fit a customer’s style and space. Product lines span bedroom, living room, dining room, office, and outdoor furniture, as well as home decor. In addition, the company operates America’s Mattress at the same location, offering pocketed-coil, memory-foam, and latex mattresses with cooling and pressure-relief technologies. Amish Heirlooms serves residential customers primarily across Iowa, Minnesota, and the broader Midwest. Its showroom in Clear Lake welcomes walk-in shoppers, while the made-to-order model allows families to specify dimensions, wood species, and finishes for pieces such as dining tables, bedroom sets, and outdoor chairs. The Olsons founded the business on a respect for traditional joinery and a desire to bring heirloom-quality furniture to the region. The company backs its outdoor line with a 100-year promise, emphasizing durability and generational longevity as core differentiators.
