About Arkansas Wood Doors Inc - Cabinet Doors

Arkansas Wood Doors operates from Pottsville, Arkansas, where it was founded in 1977 by John W. Allan II and his son John W. Allan III. The father‑son team grew the business from a local cabinet‑door shop into a supplier shipping throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Europe. The company manufactures custom cabinet doors and ready‑to‑assemble (RTA) cabinets in‑house, offering face‑frame and frameless constructions, floating shelves, and a range of door styles including cope‑and‑stick, miter‑framed, 3DL, slab, and veneer‑panel designs. It also produces cabinet refacing components, custom drawer fronts, face frames, and closet systems. A notable specialty is veneer raised‑panel (VRP) inserts, which the firm began offering in 1999 and now uses in over 90 % of its raised‑panel doors. Customers include residential contractors, kitchen‑and‑bath remodelers, cabinet refacers, DIY homeowners, and retail channels such as Lowe’s, where Arkansas Wood Doors is a certified special‑order vendor. The product line spans multiple wood species, thermofoil (RTF) finishes, UV‑finished plywood, and MDF. Arkansas Wood Doors emphasizes that its RTA cabinets are engineered to exceed the structural integrity of many custom‑built cabinets while remaining simple enough for anyone to assemble. The VRP capability and a full‑service online ordering system are cited as key differentiators.
