About Aroplax Corporation
Founded in 1943 in Monticello, Minnesota, Aroplax began by machining components for the WWII effort. The company transitioned to thermoset mold tooling and adopted thermoplastic injection molding by 1954. By the mid-1970s it had become a full-service custom injection molder. Today it remains under fourth-generation family ownership, operating two facilities totaling 80,000 square feet in Monticello. Aroplax runs 20-plus servo-electric presses ranging from 30 to 720 tons, all equipped with robotic automation, and processes a full range of thermoplastics including nylon, polyethylene, polycarbonate, polypropylene, and glass- or mineral-filled resins. In-house capabilities cover mold design, tool maintenance and repair, and secondary operations such as ultrasonic welding, drilling, tapping, assembly, kitting, warehousing, fulfillment, and custom labeling and packaging. The company also offers design-for-manufacturability review, rapid prototyping via 3D printing, and bridge or prototype tooling. The molder serves OEMs across electronics and technology, performing arts and education, recreational and consumer, window and door, agricultural equipment, and hand tools and hardware. It also supports medical OEMs for external-use components. Long-term customers include agricultural equipment manufacturers, window manufacturers, technology companies, and tool suppliers. Aroplax emphasizes a DFM-driven approach on every project, single-source manufacturing from concept through fulfillment, and custom-engineered solutions such as metal-to-plastic conversions. Its core values — above and beyond, continuous improvement, respect, integrity, and results — underpin an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system with process traceability and data-backed production standards.
