About BIG SIN WOOD
BIG SIN WOOD was founded in 2018 by Jeremy Morrow in New York. Morrow, originally from Nashville, Tennessee, established the shop in Katonah, New York, though most projects are delivered and installed throughout New York City. The business began after Morrow left a career as a professional bass trombonist, bringing a musician’s discipline to woodworking. The company produces custom furniture, fixtures, and installations on a commissioned basis, handling each project from design through fabrication, finishing, delivery, and installation. Work is built to order in their Katonah shop, with an emphasis on hand-selected lumber and the option to incorporate locally sourced or reclaimed wood. No facility size or headcount figures are published. Morrow states that controlling every step—design, build, finish, delivery, and install—ensures quality and a personal connection to the material. The approach reflects his belief that knowing the origin of the wood, whether it’s white oak, plywood, or reclaimed stock, adds meaning to the finished piece.
