About Central Arkansas Truck Outfitters
Central Arkansas Truck Outfitters operates from a shop in Bryant, Arkansas, and has been outfitting work trucks since its founding in 2019. The business was started by Carl Gann, who brought more than 35 years of automotive experience—from sweeping floors to managing a commercial work‑truck dealership—after recognizing a lack of local upfitting services in central Arkansas. The company is owner‑operated and serves customers from Bryant, Benton, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway, Hot Springs, Maumelle, and Cabot. The shop sells and installs a range of truck equipment, including Royal and Warner service bodies, Bedrock truck beds, Transfer Flow auxiliary fuel tanks, Kargo Master ladder racks, Weather Guard and Ranger Design van storage systems, CURT, B&W, and NSA RV towing hardware, and Feniex emergency lighting. All installations are performed in‑house, and the facility also provides custom welding and fabrication, lift‑kit and leveling‑kit installation, tonneau covers, bed liners, bumpers, and running boards. As Arkansas’ exclusive Royal Truck Body dealer, the company carries 22 authorized brands and handles fleet outfitting for contractors and businesses. The primary customers are contractors, service technicians, first‑responder fleets, and other commercial‑vehicle operators who need their trucks or vans configured for daily work. The shop’s NTEA membership connects it to the broader work‑truck industry and keeps it current with commercial‑vehicle standards. Gann founded the business because he saw that dealers in the area had to send repair and upfit work hours away, and he wanted to provide a local, hands‑on alternative. The company emphasizes that every job is done by the same people customers talk to, with 100 % in‑house installation and a focus on making each truck more functional for the working owner.
