About Hino Motors Manufacturing USA Inc

Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc. is headquartered in Marion, Arkansas, and operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hino Motors, Ltd. of Japan, which is part of the Toyota Group. The company's U.S. manufacturing footprint includes a medium-duty truck assembly plant in Mineral Wells, West Virginia, and a component facility in Marion that produces axles, knuckles, and suspension parts for Toyota's Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia models. A parts distribution center in Mira Loma, California serves Latin American and Caribbean markets with genuine Hino service parts. The company employs over 1,000 people across nine locations in five states, with more than 2 million square feet of total plant space. At the West Virginia plant, Hino has assembled over 50,000 medium-duty trucks since production began. The Marion facility focuses on stamping and component manufacturing for Toyota light trucks, while the Mira Loma center handles service parts operations. A custom factory paint shop, added in partnership with Axalta, now offers factory-applied paint options for Hino trucks. The company supplies axles, knuckles, and suspension components directly to Toyota's production lines, and distributes genuine Hino service parts to distributors in Latin America and the Caribbean. Hino emphasizes its integration with the Toyota Group and its long-standing position as Japan's top-selling medium- and heavy-duty truck maker. The recent addition of a custom paint shop with Axalta aims to raise the bar for factory finish quality in the commercial truck segment.
