About City Living Design Ltd
City Living Design Ltd operates from Chicago, Illinois, where it has supplied custom furniture for over two decades. The company traces its roots to serving restaurants and nightclubs in the Chicago area before expanding to clients across the United States. While the exact founding year and ownership structure are not publicly disclosed, the business emphasizes its long-standing presence in the contract furniture market. The firm manufactures a range of upholstered and case goods including booths, banquettes, chairs, barstools, tables, lounge seating, and outdoor furniture. Production centers on custom fabrication: booth frames are built from kiln-dried hardwood with sinuous coil springs, webbing, and high-density foam; tabletops are offered in solid wood, butcher block, laminate, granite, glass, and stainless steel with various edge profiles. An in-house design team works with clients from concept through fabrication, and the company ships finished pieces nationwide from its Chicago workroom. Customers span hospitality, retail, education, and corporate sectors. The company lists major department stores, national restaurant chains, upscale independent restaurants, coffee shops, diners, college campuses, and corporate employee cafes among its commercial accounts. A residential division extends the same commercial-grade construction to home kitchens, dining nooks, and living spaces, serving individual homeowners as well as interior designers and architects. City Living Design highlights its construction methods as a differentiator—kiln-dried hardwood frames, sinuous coil springs, and high-density foam are cited for durability and ergonomic support. The firm also notes its Allied ASID membership, in-house design assistance, and the ability to deliver commercial-grade furniture for residential applications. Nationwide shipping and a collaborative quote process round out the service model.
