CO Lumber & Real Wood Furniture

About CO Lumber & Real Wood Furniture

CO Lumber & Real Wood Furniture operates from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where it was founded in 1981 as a modest unfinished furniture store with a one-person woodworking shop. The business remains locally owned and operated, having grown from that single shop into one of the largest hardwood retailers and custom woodworking facilities in El Paso County. The company supplies a broad range of wood products including domestic and exotic hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, mouldings, and live-edge slabs such as Monkey Pod. Its custom woodworking shop produces finished and unfinished furniture, cabinetry, architectural millwork, and custom pieces for homeowners, contractors, and designers. The facility also offers complimentary cuts on sheet goods and maintains what it describes as the area’s most comprehensive moulding selection. Customers span residential construction, remodeling, furniture making, and DIY woodworking. Builders, remodelers, designers, and individual craftsmen source materials and custom millwork for kitchens, furniture, and architectural details. The company also stocks Amish-made furniture lines and serves both professional tradespeople and retail buyers. The founding mission emphasized building quality products and delivering exactly what each customer envisioned, a commitment the company says remains unchanged after four decades. It differentiates itself through owner-operated attention, a wide inventory of premium hardwoods, and a custom shop capable of handling projects from small DIY jobs to large-scale commercial millwork.
