About Gomen Furniture Manufacturing Inc
Gomen Furniture Manufacturing Inc. operates from Lynwood, California, where it was founded in 1990 by Leonardo Gonzalez. The company remains family owned and operated, with Gonzalez serving as CEO and his relatives holding key roles — Lily Gonzalez in accounting and Gustavo as production manager. The business began with a vision to become one of California's top furniture manufacturers, a goal reflected in its continued focus on domestic production. The company manufactures a full range of living room furniture, including sofas, love seats, sectionals, chaises, and beds under the Gomen and Leotoni labels. A showroom in Lynwood allows buyers to review materials and work with in-house designers on custom configurations. The firm cites 5,000 customers and 1,950 design concepts developed since inception. Primary customers are furniture retailers and store owners across the Los Angeles region and beyond; testimonials on the site come from store owners praising design flexibility and turnaround. The product line spans transitional and contemporary styles suited for both residential and office settings, with customization offered on dimensions, reclining mechanisms, and fabric choices. Gonzalez frames the company's purpose around turning a client's stylistic vision into a furnished reality, emphasizing made-in-the-USA construction, affordable pricing, and a hands-on design service that differentiates the operation from import-driven competitors.
