About Intermountain Wood Products
Intermountain Wood Products was established in 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Over the decades it has expanded to ten distribution centers across the Midwest and Western United States, with a sister flooring division operating twelve locations. The firm distributes a broad line of wood products tailored to cabinet and flooring manufacturers, including textured melamine, hardwood slabs, and live‑edge table tops. A fleet of more than 50 trucks delivers orders from any of its locations, and the entire inventory is accessible at every branch. Primary customers are cabinet shops and flooring producers throughout the region. The product range is designed to complement those industries, and the sales team emphasizes deep product knowledge gained through ongoing training programs. Leadership points to three pillars as differentiators: a company‑owned delivery fleet that promises timely shipments, associates trained to advise on product selection and application, and a stated core value of “enhancing the quality of life for all who we associate with.”
