About Marshfield Furniture
Founded in 1944 in Marshfield, Wisconsin, Marshfield Furniture has spent eight decades producing handcrafted upholstered furniture in the United States. The company began as a domestic manufacturer focused on quality and integrity, and remains headquartered in its namesake city. The company manufactures living, dining, and bedroom collections that are built to order. Its production line offers over 75 frame styles and more than 500 fabric choices, plus 48 leather options, allowing each piece to be customized to individual taste. Every item is handcrafted in the company's Wisconsin facility, with an emphasis on zero-defect construction. Marshfield Furniture sells exclusively through a network of authorized retail dealers across the United States. Its customers are primarily furniture retailers and, ultimately, residential consumers seeking made-to-order upholstered pieces. The company partners with these dealers to deliver special-order furniture that reflects current styles from transitional to modern and rustic lodge. The firm's stated mission centers on operational excellence and accountability, aiming to produce high-value, zero-defect furniture that delights the end user. Leadership emphasizes that they want the customer to return, not the product, a philosophy that drives their focus on durability and long-term relationships with suppliers and dealers.
