About MuniMo Woodworking and Design
MuniMo Woodworking and Design operates from a workshop in O'Fallon, Missouri. The business was founded by Seth Rogers, who began woodworking by building furniture for his own home and later turned the craft into a full-time venture with the support of his wife. The name MuniMo combines "Muni" from Munising, Michigan, where the couple met, and "MO" for Missouri, where they now raise their family. The company produces custom furniture, built-in cabinetry, floating shelves, and complete kitchen remodels. Projects range from record cabinets and dining tables to reception desks and commercial built-ins. The shop handles design, 3D planning, material sourcing (including granite and quartz countertops through licensed partners), and installation, with Rogers overseeing each build. No facility size or headcount is disclosed. Clients include homeowners seeking bespoke pieces, interior designers collaborating on residential projects, and commercial customers needing custom reception desks or built-ins. Portfolio examples include the Crescent Reception Desk, King's Built-Ins, and the Bossa Record Cabinet. Rogers states his mission is to create furniture that catches the eye while meeting everyday needs, a philosophy rooted in his own start making pieces for personal use. The business emphasizes a collaborative process, offering at-home consultations for floating shelves and full project management for kitchen renovations.
