About Sawtooth Wood Products, Fencing, and Equipment
Sawtooth Wood Products operates from Bellevue, Idaho, in the Wood River Valley. The company traces its roots to Bob Parker, who established the business as a log construction specialist serving Ketchum, Hailey, Sun Valley, and Bellevue. The current owner, a former Boise State Broncos running back who played in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, took over the company after growing up on his grandparents' Idaho ranch. He brought a philosophy of optimal performance shaped by athletics and agricultural work. The firm provides two core services: custom log construction of homes and buildings, and fence installation ranging from residential picket fences to commercial security fencing. Each project is approached as a customized solution, with the team working directly with clients to match specific design and functional requirements. Customers include homeowners and businesses throughout the Wood River Valley. Examples cited by the company include backyard picket fences for residences and large security fences for commercial properties, as well as one-of-a-kind log homes that reflect the region's architectural character. The owner cites his football background — teamwork, perseverance, attention to detail, and handling pressure — as directly applicable to construction craftsmanship. The company emphasizes carrying forward Bob Parker's legacy, using quality materials and focusing on optimal performance in every detail. The driving force is described as the passion and dedication the team puts into each piece of wood.
