About SOLAR PANTHER
Solar Panther operates from Peoria Heights, Illinois, serving Central Illinois homeowners. The company was founded by Ben Morrow with the stated mission to raise the standard in solar—fast, fair, and fierce. It is backed by the established Roof Tiger organization, bringing roofing and solar expertise together under one roof. The firm provides end-to-end residential solar services: roof assessment, system design and engineering, permitting, installation (roof-mount or ground-mount), utility interconnection, incentive paperwork, and ongoing monitoring. With more than 200 completed installations, the local crew handles every step without relying on out-of-town contractors. Solar Panther works primarily with homeowners evaluating whether to purchase a system, lease, or remain with their utility. The team analyzes electricity usage, property, budget, and long-term goals before recommending a tailored solution. Customers such as Ken Preston and Erin Cunningham have noted the transparent pricing, local crew accountability, and post-installation support. The company differentiates itself by combining solar and roofing expertise through its Roof Tiger affiliation, offering a single point of contact for design, finance, and project management. It emphasizes no high-pressure sales, honest numbers, and a commitment to remain available for service years after installation.
