The Wire Guy Electric

About The Wire Guy Electric

The Wire Guy Electric was founded in 2017 by Steven Taylor in Mesa, Arizona. A family-owned operation from the start, Taylor brought over a decade of field experience to serve the Phoenix Valley with a team that now includes his partner Emma Woolington as office manager, service manager Cody Taylor, and a handful of technicians and apprentices. The company maintains two locations — one in Mesa and another in Scottsdale — and operates under Arizona ROC license #365306. The firm provides a full range of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance services for both residential and commercial customers. Residential work spans new-construction wiring for custom homes, casitas, and additions; panel replacements and service upgrades coordinated with APS and SRP; EV charger installations (Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, NEMA 14-50); recessed and custom lighting; kitchen and bath remodel circuits; and troubleshooting of faults from dead outlets to burning smells. Commercial services include tenant-improvement build-outs for general contractors and property managers, LED retrofits (high-bay, troffer, parking-lot), storefront and sign lighting, dedicated equipment circuits, emergency/exit lighting testing, and off-hours service for retail, office, restaurant, medical, and warehouse facilities. Customers range from homeowners in communities such as Eastmark, Las Sendas, and Dobson Ranch to commercial property managers overseeing build-outs in Scottsdale’s DC Ranch or Phoenix’s Biltmore corridor. The company bids commercial TI work from plans, phases occupied-building lighting upgrades, and sizes circuits from equipment nameplates for kitchens, medical suites, and server rooms. The Wire Guy Electric emphasizes transparent flat-rate pricing, a “no BS” quote policy, and a satisfaction guarantee that promises return visits if issues arise. The founders frame the business as a neighborhood resource — born and raised in Mesa — with a combined 30-plus years of trade experience across the team.
