About Sigla Furniture | Best Custom Furniture Manufacturer in Los Angeles
Sigla Furniture operates from a workshop and warehouse in Los Angeles, California. The business traces its roots to 1976 when the founder arrived from Iran; by the early 1980s he had opened a small woodworking shop after initially importing Italian music boxes. Now a second-generation, family-owned company, it has served the Los Angeles area for over four decades. The company handcrafts traditional and transitional furniture — dining tables, sofas, chairs, case goods and accessories — each built to order in its Los Angeles facility using premium imported materials. Production relies on artisan joinery such as dovetail joints, custom wood finishing, and tailored upholstery in fabric, leather or velvet. Orders are made to specification from a sketch or SKU, with a typical lead time of eight to ten weeks. Sigla serves residential clients, interior designers, and the hospitality sector. Commercial references include the Omni Hotel, the Shade Hotel and the Marriott. The 2022 acquisition of JDM Furniture and Unfinished Chairs added raw frame offerings and expanded capacity for large-scale projects. The firm emphasizes heirloom-quality craftsmanship backed by a one-year repair guarantee (the Sigla Guarantee). Its family legacy and made-in-USA approach are positioned as the reason customers return for pieces intended to last generations.
