About Southern Hills Rustic Furniture
Southern Hills Rustic Furniture operates near the border of Lancaster and Chester Counties in Gap, Pennsylvania. The family‑owned and operated business has established itself as a wholesale destination for furniture crafted from reclaimed barn wood. The company transforms old barn boards into heirloom‑quality pieces including hutches, corner cupboards, cabinets, TV stands, waste cans, medicine cabinets, bookcases, trestle tables, coffee tables, and bar tables. Each item receives a durable washable glaze finish, and hardware such as hinges and handles feature a black architectural‑salvage look. Custom projects have included a reception desk for a salon and sets of window shutters. The showroom and workshop are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the business observes Christian holidays. The firm emphasizes the unique character of rustic barn wood, promoting its “unfading beauty and lifelong durability” through the glaze finish and salvage‑style hardware.
