About Black Wolf Design
Black Wolf Design was founded in 1996 by Terry Sweeney in Omro, Wisconsin. Sweeney's passion for woodworking was inspired by his grandfather, a master craftsman, and the company began as a small shop dedicated to creating heirloom-quality custom furniture for elite interior designers. The company produces custom wood furniture including dining tables, console tables, end tables, coffee tables, entertainment units, seating, storage pieces, and beds. It also offers premade solutions that are fully customizable. Expert artisans handcraft each piece using fine materials and techniques, and the firm provides design-as-a-service for fully branded environments. The process moves from client vision—CAD drawings, sketches, or inspiration images—through precision craftsmanship to white-glove delivery and installation. Black Wolf Design serves the high-end interior design trade, supplying luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Its clients include firms such as Tom Stringer Design Partners, Craig & Company, and institutions like The Paine Art Center & Gardens. The company also furnishes bespoke pieces for museums, offices, bars, and hospitality suites, requiring plan drawings for kitchens and casework. The firm emphasizes seamless customization, reliable production timelines, and flawless execution. It differentiates itself with a problem-solving team, transparent communication from quote to delivery, and a designer-centric approach that aims to make custom furniture simple for specifiers. The founding vision was to bring designers' visions to life with precision craftsmanship and white-glove service.
